The following list contains a few editor plugins that can help during map creation.
The light map quality plugin was made by Nadeo - it allows you to control light map settings for each block on your map.
You can find a detailed explanation of this feature in the Scenery article.
Note there is also an equivalent Openplanet plugin available.
The Select filter plugin was written by reaby.
It allows you to search for blocks by their name. Simply press Ctrl+F at the same time to open the filter.
For example: “Road”, “Wall”, “Ice”…
The plugin will match any part, and it’s case-sensitive.
Known issue: Entering “Grass” will select all the ground blocks.

The QuickPick plugin was created by reaby.
Using it, you can change any block’s surface type (using existing block sets) or pick a mirrored variant (either horizontally or vertically).
The Duplicate finder plugin was written by skybaxrider.
It allows you to find all the places where there are two or more instances of the same block in the same position.

The Drag blocks plugin was made by Nerpson and updated by XertroV.
This allows you to create whole sections by clicking and dragging a box that will be filled with a block of your choice. Just press Ctrl+D to initiate Drag Mode.

The Random block palette plugin was written by skybaxrider.
This lets you pick up to five blocks as your palette by clicking in the box to add the currently selected block. Then if you hold Shift and click to place it will choose randomly from the palette. Note: At the moment, this only works for blocks - items are not supported.
The Block helpers plugin was made by skybaxrider - it simply lets you toggle the block helpers/connectors on or off every time you run it.
The Time spent plugin was made by Beu. With it, you can track how much time you’ve spent in the editor for the current map.
The Universe map plugin set is a collection of useful plugins created by BigBang1112.
It was originally made for ManiaPlanet - but most of it also works in TM2020. It includes a Scenery Painter, a Block Replacer, a simplified Test Mode, a customizable Autosave feature and a Skin Painter.
Note that it’s unable to work with items in TM2020.
